WHY USE SOY WAX?
Soy wax is a 100% natural wax derived from the vegetable soybeans. It is non-toxic; made with no toxins, carcinogens, or pollutants which means our candles are less likely to trigger allergies. As a vegetable-based wax, it does not give off any harmful byproducts that can stain walls and curtains like the other waxes you find in popular candle brands today. Soy wax has a lower melting point and because of this, our soy candles will burn slower and longer! Soy wax is easier to clean because it is biodegradable. It can be easily cleaned up with soap and hot water.
HOW ARE YOUR INGREDIENTS ECO-FRIENDLY?
Growing up on the Shore, I am aware how crucial it is to keep our environment healthy, especially our oceans. Alongside our candles being made from all natural soy wax, our wicks are made from pure cotton, with no leads or metals. Our fragrance oils are phthalate-free, and are made with plant extracts. Phthalates are harmful to us, our pets, and the planet because they can impact our natural hormones and lead to health issues. Our glitters and mica powders are biodegradable and contain no microplastics that could end up in our oceans.
